During these dates, several restaurants in Amposta will offer special menus to celebrate the Gastronomic Days of the Rice, with this popular cereal as the main ingredient.
The restaurants group “L’Essència de l’Arròs. Amposta – Delta de l’Ebre” is made up of different restaurants in Amposta and is the result of the work that has been carried out for some time by the Restaurateurs Association of Amposta. Its objective is to position Amposta and Delta de l’Ebre internationally as the Catalan capital of rice cuisine. In this sense, with the support of the Montsià rice cooperative, the group will present the two gastronomic seasons of the rice which Amposta wants to promote rice cuisine and that coincide with the plant in June and the harvest in October.
