The landscape that surrounds our city is an attraction for all those people who like to enjoy contact with nature. The immensity of the beaches, the peaks of the mountains and the exuberance of the river Ebro make up an ideal and diverse landscape for sports.

WE ARE A SPORTS TOURISM DESTINATION

The sports tourism destination seal is awarded by the Generalitat de Catalunya and certifies our municipality as a high quality destination for elite athlete, professionals, amateurs and tourists who want to practice some sports activities or attend competitions and enjoy first class facilities that apply the latest sports technologies and services adapted to sports practice.

MUNICIPAL SWIMMING POOL

Among its facilities is the heated pool, 25 x 16.70 m with 8 streets and an average depth of 2 m.
SPORTS AREA

Sports practices: Handball, Basketball, Futsal, Rhythmic gymnastics, Twirling, Badminton, Hockey, Roller skating, Table tennis, Aikidō / Judo.
FENCING CENTRE

An initiative by the Catalan Fencing Federation as part of an ambitious high performance training project
MUNICIPAL FOOTBALL STADIUM

The municipal stadium with artificial turf where football matches are held, with a capacity of 3,000 spectators.
ATHLETICS TRACK

Within the Terres de l'Ebre High Performance Training Centre, the athletics track is 400 m long and has a synthetic surface.
AMPOSTA NAUTICAL CLUB

This rowing centre is a new instrument to take Catalan high performance sport up another notch, and particularly to help young people who are training professionally.

CTE TTEE

The Terres de l’Ebre Technification Sports Centre is an organism that supports the local and territorial sports in the Terres de l’Ebre to make it more competitive at the national and international level; optimizing all sports resources that are in Amposta, as many as facilities like professional athlete. The CTE TTE has got the necessary means to train and prepare the athletes, realizing a dual formation during their studies. In this way the young students will be able to combine their academic studies with the highest level of sport.
