Protected within the Natural Park, it’s the largest lagoon in the Delta. It is a great natural spot for birdwatching.
It’s the largest lagoon in the Ebro Delta and is found within protected areas of the Natural Park on the right hemidelta of the Delta. It’s surrounded by freshwater vegetation (common reed, narrowleaf cattail, cogongrass) and also by vegetation adapted to the salt flats (glasswort and prickly saltwort). In this area, you can find 4 wildlife viewpoints and a bicycle lane that borders the northern side of the lagoon with the corresponding interpretive signs for this ecosystem.
