Is a municipality that has a charm and a past linked to the cultivation of rice among other traditional foods of the Delta de l'Ebre.
Poble Nou del Delta was created after the spanish Civil War with the intention of establishing settlers who worked the lands dedicated to rice cultivation, salt collection and fishing.
Nowadays it is a town that has evolved towards a tourist side, with a wide range of accommodation and restaurants of good quality, thus promoting the activity linked to the Parc Natural del Delta de l’Ebre.
It is characterized by its landscaped streets with palm trees and white colonial houses. The houses have two floors, with an interior patio, all of them surround the church bell tower, which is visible from various points of the Delta de l’Ebre.
