Les Torres de Guaita Interpretation Centre helps visitors understand the uses of the guard and defence towers along the coast.
Les Torres de Guaita Interpretation Centre introduces you to the world of surveillance in an era of raids, bandits and smugglers. Discover how the towers work, their strategic positions and their uses in defending the region against possible attacks.
The route covers four towers: the 12th century L’Ermita Tower in l’Aldea, the 16th century Candela Tower, the 12th century Burjassénia Tower and the 13th century Benixarop Tower. Some of these towers are privately owned and cannot be visited.
