Gola de Migjorn

OLD MOUTH OF THE EBRE RIVER

The mouth of the River Ebre is characterized by continuous transformations caused by the variation of the flow of the river Ebro, the sediments carried by water or sea conditions. La Gola de Migjorn is one of the ancient mouths of the river Ebre, currently obstructed by a set of sediments. This space is bordered by Illa de Buda, which ends at a beach. It has got a lot of natural interest as it is an observation point for birds that live in the Ebre Delta.
