THE SMALLEST LAKE IN THE EBRO DELTA

La Bassa de les Olles has 54 ha and is one of the smallest lagoons in the Ebro Delta. Its area begins on the beach of Arenal de l’Ampolla and extends to the Goleró, communicating with the Bay of Fangar, between fields and dunes, forming a total space of about 373 ha. It is a lagoon formed by helophilic vegetation where a great wealth of environments with a large population of waterfowl predominates. La Bassa de les Olles is a protected area. It has several itineraries that border it.
