To jump group of several linksThis, the largest lagoon in the Ebro Delta, lies in the Natural Park in the right-hand hemi-Delta of the Ebro Delta.
The lagoon is surrounded by helophytes and freshwater vegetation (reeds, bulrush, cogongrass, etc.) which predominates, as well as halophytes plants adapted to salty terrain such as saltwort and glasswort.
The fauna typical of these freshwater lagoons includes reedbirds, ducks and ardeids (purple heron, grey heron, etc.).
There are two birdwatching hides in this area, as well as a cycle path route skirting the northern part of the lagoon, with panels providing information about this fascinating ecosystem.
