Casa de Fusta

This building, which stands beside L'Encanyissada Lagoon, was imported from Canada in 1927 as a hunting lodge for wealthy Barcelona people.
On the establishment of the Ebro Delta Natural Park, the building was converted to house an interactive exhibition on the lagoons and many of the birds that inhabit the Delta, as well as hunting and traditional fishing equipment. The Casa de Fusta also houses the Natural Park Information Point.
Visitors will also find here a lookout point from which they can observe the flora and fauna of the lagoon, whilst a cycle lane also skirts the north-west area of the lagoon. Along this path are signs explaining visitors about this fascinating ecosystem.
