These are botanical garden created by the Baladre school-workshop, situated in the outskirts of Amposta on the Carrova road. The garden, which occupy a 6,000 square metre space and are currently being completed, contain exemplars of the most representative trees and bushes from the ecosystems found in Montsià county.
A walk around the botanical garden enables visitors to find out in a virtual way about the Mediterranean, river bank and high mountain environments in our county. Each different ecosystem is represented by its characteristic vegetation, both spontaneous and that caused by human transformation of the environment. Moreover, information panels supply the names of the most representative plants in each group.
