Stage 41
Itinerary:
Tortosa - Font de Quinto - Amposta
Description:
Setting off of the park Teodor González de Tortosa, it is advanced through the bank of Ebro until the bridge of the Bimillennial, where the GR 99 takes the path of the Mig, traditional way of Tortosa to Amposta, which goes between market gardens and houses, accompanied by the important channnel of the Left. After the village of Campredó (formed by disseminated agricultural as that of Font of Quinto, that it preserves its rural and interesting monuments) is returned to the edge of the river and afterwards it crosses under the bridges of the railroad and the A-7, which mark the beginning of the rice fields of the delta. Very near he alredy finds Amposta, which is accessed crossing its attractive suspension bridge.
Stage 42
Itinerary:
Amposta - Deltebre - Riumar
Description:
The Natural path of Ebro ends in this stage, long and plain tour across the Nature Park of the Delta and the big paddies formed in the new lands of alluvion. After Amposta the channel of the Left is followed to cross the different neighborhoods of Deltebre. Being tightened for the edge of Ebro, the new fishing port of the people is bordered and is gone up to the small oriel of Munytell of the Verges from where the light of the Garxal, official mouth of Ebro, is reached. Surrounding the gap of the Garxal, part of the Natural Park, people arrive to the last goal of the Natural path of Ebro in the maritime avenue of the urbanitzation Riumar.
